David Castagnetti

Director, Hospitality

Responsible for hospitality including food, beverage and entertainment for Genton Cockrum including managing food halls, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops and urban markets that also include Italian food, pizza, and sandwiches. He also owns a seasonal market on Cape Cod in Massachusetts with his brother Francis as well as Castagnetti Brothers Hospitality. Genton Cockrum and Castagnetti Brothers formed Palio Hospitality with Castagnetti Brothers acting as Operating Partners and Owners.

Prior to Genton Cockrum, D. Castagnetti worked for seven years as General Manager and Beverage Director of UNION Pasadena, designated a Michelin Plate restaurant. He also simultaneously managed the opening and ongoing operations of adjacent UStreet Pizza as General Manager and Beverage Director in addition to acting as Operations Manager for Irish Pub Tom Bergins in Los Angeles.

Previously, D. Castagnetti acted as General Manager and Beverage Director, Michael’s in Santa Monica managing the repositioning and reopening. In addition, he also acted as Beverage Director and Manager at Firefly in Studio City.

Education: Boston College, BA in Theatre Arts.
