Caleigh Raymer

Director, Construction (LEED AP)

Responsible for construction management for Genton Cockrum including selection and supervision of general contractor and subcontractors and consultants, negotiation of contracts, management of schedule and budget, obtaining occupancy permits, and project closeout. Genton Cockrum and Ms. Raymer formed Genton Cockrum Raymer Construction to act as general contractor, as appropriate, to provide quality and cost-effective general contractor services with Ms. Raymer acting as President and Owner as well as Responsible Managing Officer.

Prior to Genton Cockrum, Ms. Raymer worked for Lendlease as Vice President, Director of Operations overseeing the Los Angeles regional office responsible for all aspects of regional general contractor operations including: estimating; pre-construction and construction management of trades, safety, quality, scheduling and virtual design & construction or VDC; administering insurance programs; working with union construction trades; and managing over 100 employees in office and at project sites.

Previously, Ms. Raymer was Partner, Southern California, and Director of Preconstruction, California, for Build Group, a California general contractor. In addition, she also held prior general contractor positions as a Senior Estimator for Bernard’s Builders, Senior Project Manager and Lead Estimator for The Walsh Group, and Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager and Chief Estimator for Gerardi Construction.

Ms. Raymer has been recognized as Engineering News Record Top 20 Under 40 for the United States and California in 2020 and Globe Street Top 50 under 40 for the United States in 2021. Education: North Carolina State University, BS in Meteorology and Environmental Engineering; University of South Florida, MS in Civil Engineering; and Florida International University, PhD in Civil Engineering.
